In no particular order,
Perfect Blue, directed by Satoshi Kon
The Place Promised in Our Early Days, directed by Makoto Shinkai
Digimon Adventure Movie, directed by Mamoru Hosada (
this one)
Princess Mononoke, directed by Hayao Miyazaki
End of Evangelion, directed by Hideaki Anno
So that's one film from my top film from each of my top five directors. I like the whole body of work of each of these five men. Except Mamoru Hosada, who only has two films in his repertoire (Digimon Adventure Movie and Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo).
Of Mamoru Oshii's body of work, I have only seen Ghost in the Shell so I don't have him on that list...
Oh, and yeah I haven't seen the classics like Akira or Metropolis yet. Or Lupin III. A sin I'm sure.
