Some lovely lines in this chapter, not an especially difficult chapter technically although I think the script was difficult to tweak. Despite everything I think Rei is pretty admirable for being able to act on this.

Some of you may have seen a warning a few days ago that the site was flagged by Google for potentially having malware. One of the sites we host ran an old version of Wordpress which was exploited and affected us here as well, however everything is clean now and the forums have even been updated to a new version thanks to the lovely Motoko-chan. If you have an old Wordpress blog don't forget to update!
I know... it's been unusually long since the last release and it is by and large my fault. Don't worry I probably already feel the appropriate amount of bad and not-bad for dragging my feet.

Thanks for another release of this.

Thanks alot for the release. I love this manga, and feel bad for the main guy. He has had a sad life and is now even losing his shougi matches due to lack of motivation. Gotta feel sorry for him

Thanks a lot for the chapter!

My own interpretation of the last few pages where Rei is hearing the sound of the waves again is that he is regaining his motivation after meeting Takashi, who reignites his desire to know about more about the Meijin and what it is like to be on the other side of the "storm", a metaphor for the difficulties in the climb to the top.
We'll see next chapter, I think~ as he'll have a televised shogi match in it

Yop, Takahashi definitely gave Rei the push he needed to get out his slump.
