We're also in need of someone that is knowledgeable about shogi. We had a big enough headache this chapter figuring out the meaning of all the things on page 16-- next chapter, Rei will play a full out shogi match (and many more such chapters follow).
Why oh why did this have to be a shogi manga. She could've made it... soley about wagashi! And on that note, this seems to be what kimian looks like: (http://thumbnail.image.rakuten.co.jp/@0_mall/mase/cabinet/fukujugaki/fukujugaki.jpg) and this is tsubuan (http://www.fugetsu-do.com/pictures/habutai.jpg) in a bun-like form.
