His Busou Renkin is a lance, “Sunlight Heart.” Renkinjutsu is an art from ancient Europe that attempted to turn lead into gold or create an elixir of immortality, which unfortunately failed. However, unexpected results arose from those experiments, and these arts were passed on, splitting into two branches - man-made humans and kakugane. The “Kakugane” is a supernatural alloy refined by alchemy. It draws energy from the subconscious, particularly the will to fight. It speeds up the healing process, and if the will to fight is strong enough, shapes the energy into unique weapons.
