However, unexpected results arose from those experiments, and these arts were passed on, splitting into two branches - man-made humans and kakugane. Tsumura Tokiko Chosen out of the people that know Renkinjutsu, an experienced Busou Renkin user known as a “Renkin Warrior.” She mostly fights with her mechanized “Valkyrie’s Skirt,” named after an ancient war goddess. The “kakugane” is a supernatural alloy refined by alchemy. It draws energy from the subconscious, particularly the will to fight. It speeds up the healing process, and if the will to fight is strong enough, shapes the energy into unique weapons.
